Dear db,
I would like to thank you
for your wonderfully innovative DVD "Inner Island" and tell you of my
experience. I have osteoporosis, osteo-arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis - this
causes my joints to swell and the pain can be excruciating. I have gone from
someone who never took medication to one whose condition has caused her doctor
to prescribe Evista, Lipitor, Viox, Celebrex and Tylenol 3 and was now
suggesting sleeping pills. I knew this insidious increase in medication was not
the answer, but I so needed sleep free from pain. I received your DVD in the
post, sat in my chair with my earphones and was totally transported. First there
was the beautiful and haunting kaleidoscope of colour along with the soothing
music, which is the perfect accompaniment. I felt my body slowly relax. Pain
causes you to hold yourself very rigid, and total relaxation is impossible. I
fell into a deep sleep, from which I awoke totally rested and pain free. I use
the sound and images twice a day and I have stopped my pain medications. Now my
body is rested and my mind is sharp and clear. It is my hope that more people
will find what I have found. Not only a wonderful aid to pain management, but an
opportunity to visit your own island of peace and tranquility, whenever you feel
the need. I can't wait to experience your other DVD's.
